16th Sunday after Trinity 2019. Paul prays in Ephesians 3 that we would be strengthened in the inner man. The strength we need is not one of muscles but one that the keeps us tied to Christ when circumstances and powers seek to pull us away. It is a strength of soul that says, “I belong to the Lord and there is nothing that can tear me away”.
